The Extended Access Service is an extension of your usual primary care practice. It is not a walk-in service – you need to make an appointment.
The Extended Access Service is located at Mowbray Square in Harrogate and North House in Ripon. You can get appointments here up to 8pm weekdays, on Saturday and Sunday mornings at Mowbray House and Saturday mornings at North House.

To obtain medicines urgently, please contact the surgery.
If you already have a prescription and the surgery is closed, please click here to find a local chemist.
When the surgery is closed the practice is covered by the Out Of Hours Doctors. This is the local system of fully trained GPs (Tel: 111).
In the case of urgent need when the practice is closed you can call NHS 111 (tel:111) to speak to a triage nurse. Your needs will be assessed and advice offered or arrangements made for you to see a doctor.
Please do not ask to see a doctor out of hours unless you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.
Call 999 in an emergency. Chest pains and/or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
