Flu clinics

The practice is hosting a series of Flu clinics for specific patients. Patients will receive an invite either by text or letter. Only the patient invited should attend the clinic. Each group of patients will be invited to a 15 minute slot. If you are unable to attend at the time allocated, don’t worry, we will invite you again at a later date. Please don’t call as we are unable to offer you another appointment at this moment in time.

What will happen when I arrive?
When you arrive at the surgery there will be a member of staff booking patients in. Please allow 2 meters distance between yourself and the patient in front of you if there is a queue at the door. You will be given instructions by the staff member. Please observe the social distancing markings whilst in the queue inside the practice.

What do I need to do?
Please wear a face covering and ensure you wash/sanitise your hands before and after.

DO NOT attend if you or a close contact have symptoms or have had contact with a suspected/confirmed case.

How long will it take?
It should only take a maximum of 15 minutes. We will endeavour to keep it to as short a time as possible.

Will I just be offered my flu vaccination?

Yes, clinicians will be unable to deal with any other issues during this clinic. You will be contacted about other vaccinations that are due separately.

What do I do after I’ve had my vaccination?
Most patients can leave immediately; however, we may ask you to remain on the premises for a short while.
